Because I work with websites on a daily basis, I frequently come across tools that really help with the maintenance of websites. We’re constantly asked how large or small an area is on a site, or what the name of an element is on a page, and maybe what the styles are for a certain element. With the Firefox Web Developer add-on, you can do all of the above and much more with a simple click of the mouse. The Web Developer add-on is an extension that adds a menu and a tool bar with various web developer tools to your currently installed Firefox browser.
Whether you’re new to the web field or have been working on websites for years, this add-on is a great tool to help you modify styles, clear your cache, and view element information. The developer website doesn’t give a lot of help on this toolbar, but I have come across several videos that show you how the tool bar works.
