I try to learn from others. There is a lot that can be gained by listening and watching what others experience and have tried. The internet brings this to a whole different level. Blogs are the perfect example of this. So many mothers blog about their children – the cute things they do, the activities they do together, and the things that just are not working out. I have found that I get some of my best parenting advice from the blogging mommy community beyond the books at the bookstore. This is real and practical advice. It is not just a “how-to” scenario of the perfect situation in a book, but activities the kids really loved, discipline that really worked, or frustrations I share. I have blogs and blogger friendships with people that I have met and know closely, and some that I have never met.
In this same idea of thinking, Access ACS Program Manager William Griggs recently shared with me what neat things that some of our clients are doing with our web solutions. We have a variety of ways that you can connect our web solutions in to your web site for an integrated solution. Check these implemented examples to see How:
- * The Father’s House does Small Groups
- * St. Michael’s displays their Youth Events within their website
- * SpringWell integrates Events and Online Giving
- * Bahamas Harvest Church (don’t you want to go visit to also see how they do their service… ) does their member site
- * Westover Hills connects their Small Groups
- * Windsor Crossing Community Church innovates their display of Online Giving
- * First Baptist Belton shows their calendar table
- * HighPoint Fellowship does a calendar display
- * BT McAllen Does an Online Giving Video
Check them out to learn and get ideas about what others are doing. I know there are lots more great examples out there. How do you integrate our solutions? Feel free to send your cool sites my way so I can check them out and share!
